What does holy alignment look like for you?

I started the practice of writing morning pages - three pages written out by hand first thing-ish every-ish morning. This practice, popularized by Julia Cameron's book The Artist's Way, is a brain dump to get out all the clutter and random thoughts. You aren't really supposed to read it again, nor is anyone else. But I opened my journal today and re-read the entry from last Saturday. I decided that I wanted to share it with you because I think you'll get it!

I hope that after you read this, you feel like taking a big deep breath and allow your shoulders to relax.

Open to receiving

to integrating

moving to wholeness

finding harmonious balance

holy alignment

airson chrisod

soften into a state of openness

calmness

slowing

to be aware

to notice

to appreciate

to be amused

to be surprised

to be joyful

Surrender

Soften

Release the external urging

Release the fear of missing out

What is for me will be waiting when it is time

Surrender into sabbatical

a time of quietness

a time of allowing the unfolding

a time of integrating

a time of weaving together

A slow time of weaving

collecting all the strands worth keeping

letting the others fall away

Softly

imperceptibly

without agitation

allow

open

notice what brings me into holy alignment

notice what pulls me away

moving away from

judging, us/them thinking, scarcity mindset

moving towards love

ever more love

there is more than enough

enough time to rest

enough paint to create

enough love to thrive

enough space to breath

enough love

enough

My soul is craving some sabbatical time to be more intentional about being in holy alignment, and noticing when I'm not! I may be ready for the dark time of the year and we are not even at the fall equinox.

I am curious how these words landed in your soul.

What is your soul craving right now?
